High Airflow Venturi Scrubber VTDS

The High Airflow Venturi Scrubber VTDS is designed using pump-injection enhancement technology and the high-efficiency Venturi principle. Before the gas stream carrying smoke and dust enters the separator tangentially, it must pass through the Venturi throat, where a wash liquid is sprayed. The airflow accelerates rapidly within the Venturi throat, causing the liquid to vaporize. The relative motion between the airflow and the liquid ensures thorough mixing, causing the dust and pollutants to aggregate with the liquid droplets. In the high-speed centrifugal droplet separator, the dust-laden droplets are separated from the airflow. The purified air is then discharged through a central duct to a fan located on the clean air side. The separated sludge or pollutants are collected using appropriate methods based on their characteristics.

The VTOHK series is the basic model of Tenzon pump-jet Venturi dust collectors. In the VTOHK scrubber-separator, an intermediate section separates the water tank from the separator. Contaminants are thoroughly mixed with spray water and the water mist formed at the Venturi throat, where they aggregate before being centrifugally separated by the airflow onto the inner wall of the separator. They then flow along the inner wall with the water stream into the water tank, where they slowly settle. The contaminants deposited in the water tank are periodically discharged through a discharge valve into a sludge barrel.

The Tenzon VTDS Wet Dust Collector is designed based on the high-efficiency Venturi principle, with the fan mounted on top or in a separate unit, and features automatic removal of contaminants. Before entering the dust collector tangentially, the gas stream containing contaminants passes through the Venturi throat, where liquid is sprayed. The gas stream accelerates rapidly in the Venturi throat, causing the liquid to vaporize. The relative motion between the gas stream and the liquid ensures thorough mixing, causing dust and other pollutants to agglomerate with the liquid droplets. In the slow-speed centrifugal separator, the slurry droplets are separated from the gas stream. The purified air is discharged through a duct located at the center of the separator. The slurry or pollutants are discharged into a wastewater tank and automatically removed via systems such as scraper chains or paddle conveyors. The wastewater tank is equipped with a liquid level monitoring system and an automatic fresh water replenishment system.
