Flat-Bag Dust Collector FAUD
Flat-Bag Dust Collector FAUD, also known as side-entry flat-bag dust collectors, are a type of baghouse dust collection equipment. They use flat filter bags—as opposed to traditional round filter bags—which are arranged in a side-entry configuration. With their compact housing design, they are the preferred choice for dust control in facilities with limited space.
Dust-laden gas enters the housing, where coarse dust particles settle directly into the hopper, while fine dust is captured on the outer surface of the flat filter bags. Clean air passes through the filter bags into the clean air chamber and is discharged. When dust accumulation on the filter bags reaches a preset threshold, the reverse-blow or pulse-jet cleaning mechanism is activated. Compressed air is then blown through the filter bags to dislodge the dust, which falls into the hopper and is collected by the ash discharge system, ensuring continuous and stable operation.

Features and Advantages
High Space Utilization
The flat filter bags are densely arranged, providing a larger filtration area for the same cabinet volume; the unit has a lower overall height, making it suitable for projects with low ceiling heights, workshop renovations, and confined spaces.
Easy Maintenance
The side-loading filter bag design allows for direct replacement of filter bags from outside the housing, eliminating the need for personnel to enter the housing. This ensures safe and efficient maintenance while minimizing downtime.
Precision-Engineered Housing
The entire unit is precision-welded, ensuring excellent sealing and no air leakage; its modular design allows for customization of dimensions, filter media, and airflow capacity as needed.
High Dust Removal Efficiency
With uniform airflow distribution and minimal cleaning dead zones, the system efficiently captures dry, fine dust, consistently meets environmental emission standards, and features low operating resistance, thereby reducing fan energy consumption.
