Zeolite Concentrator Wheel & RCO System for Paint VOC Control at a Ningbo Bridge Components Manufacturer

Release Date:

Jun 08,2026

Client Name: A Ningbo-based manufacturer of bridge structural components

Product & Application: Zeolite rotor adsorption and catalytic combustion system for an automated coating line

Project Timeline: March 2022 – May 2022 (65 days)

Client Background & Requirements:

The client is a National Torch Program High-Tech Enterprise with over 30 years of experience in R&D, manufacturing, and services related to bridge structural components, road surfacing, and bridge health monitoring. The company focuses on the R&D and innovation of bridge expansion joints, advanced road surfacing materials, and specialized equipment. Grounded in the mission of ensuring "bridge health" and driven by "R&D innovation," the company champions the concept of "full-lifecycle quality." Its proprietary RB modular multi-directional bridge expansion joints and ECO polyurethane road surfacing materials represent groundbreaking global technologies that address critical industry bottlenecks; experts—including academicians across the fields of bridge engineering, materials science, and mechanical engineering—have rated the overall technology as world-leading. The company has contributed to over a hundred major domestic and international projects, including the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Link, and Africa's largest bridge.

The client’s existing coating workshop housed one spray painting assembly line and one mobile spray booth, with two activated carbon adsorption-desorption-regeneration units located outside.
Due to increasingly stringent environmental regulations, the aging equipment was no longer adequate: the units were undersized, the dry filtration systems were prone to clogging, and desorption temperatures were insufficient for effective operation. Consequently, the client required a system upgrade that included the installation of online monitoring capabilities. The total airflow capacity for the two new coating exhaust treatment units is 90,000 m³/h.

Service Process & Why Choose Us:

• Through sustained and effective follow-up, we continuously identified and clarified the client's needs, subsequently adjusting our approach to provide a tailored, detailed technical solution.
• The client recognized the timeliness of our follow-up and the professionalism of our proposal, leading to the establishment of a partnership.
• The upstream multi-stage dry filtration bed features an optimized design that effectively removes paint mist, ensuring the long-term, high-efficiency operation of the downstream zeolite rotor.
• The desorption process utilizes an electrically heated catalytic combustion bed, offering rapid heating, stable operation, and thorough, effective desorption.
• Safety measures include an over-temperature alarm system and a fire-suppression sprinkler pipeline; these multiple safeguards ensure the safe operation of the equipment.

Customer Feedback:

• The system operates stably and efficiently, ensuring safety and reliability.
• The dry filtration bed features a multi-stage, full-face design, making the replacement of consumables quick and convenient.
• Comprehensive training materials are provided, covering operating guidelines, troubleshooting for common issues, equipment maintenance and repair, and spare parts management.
• Treatment performance is consistent, resulting in low exhaust emission concentrations that easily meet the standards of online monitoring.
