The client is a central state-owned enterprise (SOE) specializing in new materials. It is dedicated to the R&D and production of high-performance engineering plastics, specialized materials for nuclear technology applications, high-performance fibers and composites, eco-friendly polymers, and medical-grade polymers. Its products are widely used in sectors such as electronics and electrical appliances, automotive, aerospace, smart home, 5G communications, nuclear technology, new energy, transportation, healthcare, and environmental protection.
As a renowned Chinese enterprise in the R&D and production of high-performance polymer materials, the company has established numerous technical innovation platforms, including a nationally accredited laboratory, Zhejiang Province’s first R&D center for high-performance engineering plastics, a provincial key enterprise research institute for graphene-polymer composites, a provincial key laboratory for plastic modification and processing technology, and a postdoctoral research workstation.
For this project, the client required a solution to control dust and exhaust air pollution. The pollution sources were primarily concentrated across the factory's 18 extrusion and granulation production lines. These lines consist of extrusion and granulation sections, premix tank feeding points, raw material feeding points, weighing stations, and automatic feeding units; all dust and exhaust air emissions originate from these specific process stages.
